When L+F launched in 2018, we were almost exclusively a WordPress development studio - and we are happy to report that bespoke WordPress builds remain a key part of our business.

Webflow is the fastest growing part of our business - and indeed is what this website is built with. We regularly tackle full bespoke builds as well as theme customisation projects. Indeed it is the latter - theme customisation - that opens up the most doors for a smaller agency clients where budgets are a critical concern.
That is not to say that Webflow is a budget option; we have built some large-scale, beautiful bespoke projects in recent years in Webflow and its functionality as a platform continues to grow. It already has ecommerce functionality and is rapidly rolling-out a Membership and Logic (similar to Zapier) functionality.
In the years to come, we can see Webflow eating more and more of our WordPress work.
Another growth area of L+F is Headless or JAMStack architecture (https://jamstack.org/). We have been fortunate enough to work on a range of projects in this space, ranging from high-performance micro-sites to vast corporate websites.
Our typical stack is Next.js for the front-end and either Strapi or WordPress REST API as the back-end. That said, this space continues to move quickly and this typical stack is very likely to change as services wax and wane.
The rise of DTC (direct-to-consumer), new challenger brands and huge market shifts (cannabis and the CBD sector, we’re looking at you…) mean that there has rarely been a better chance to win great branding, packaging and web work. However that last one component can be tricky; happily though, that’s where we can step in.
We specialise in two primary e-commerce platforms, delivering both bespoke builds as well as ongoing support and maintenance: WordPress+WooCommerce and Shopify.
